after the furore re the cables I was especially looking forward to your postcard this week – I even thought of calling for a response but as it happened I was away out of town with an excitable small person and so I just thought I’d look forward to your take on it – and you didn’t disappoint – I assumed you would have been there – but next to the Amb – indeed a most interesting position….
