Thanks for the comment ... and the hopes for the season ... unfortunately, there's not much we can actually do in order to salvage what is left of the season ... it's out of our hands. Most of our clients are "westerners" and most of those have already made up their minds about what they want to do this summer. As I said, however, the situation with regard to Issyk Kul is different and there seems to be a fair amount of effort in trying to encourage our traditional customers (Kazakhs, Russians, etc.) to visit.

Extra services ... hmmm ... I had better be a bit more careful about how I word things in future ... this really means things like charges for sun loungers and fridges in rooms ... sorry, not "working women" ... I am not sure that anyone actually organizes this sort of thing ... a lot of the resorts are "family orientated" ... ie with activities for kids, sports, billards, video games etc. ... many run discos and like most holiday venues I suppose that there are a fair number of holiday romances, but I am not so sure about such "other suervices".

We did get a request, once, from a South Asian company who were organizing a "reward" trip for "hot" executives ... and were looking for such services for anyone who wanted to avail themselves of the "facility" ... to be fair to them, they were up-front about it, (well almost - they told us in their second e-mail), but we still (politely) declined the business.

Thank you again warmly for keeping us informed about events in Kyrgyzstan. I'm glad to hear things are at least relatively calm. I appreciate this information and it also brings back my warm memories of that wonderful country.

I do hope you can salvage the season.

Tell me - seriously - are the additional services what I think they are? (working women???)

or did I just jump to conclusions?
